Why Kitchen Book exists
There's a binder in my kitchen I'm a little embarrassed to show people. It's been there for almost ten years, stuffed with recipes I love. Actually love. The ones I make over and over, the ones tied to the best days of the year.
From the outside it looks fine. From the inside it's chaos. Mismatched fonts. Tiny text. Pages clearly designed to be read on a screen, not held in a kitchen. There's a focaccia recipe I make every Christmas Eve. Easter peanut butter eggs passed around the family on a notecard. A birthday cake from Preppy Kitchen that everyone has decided is the birthday cake, non-negotiable, every year.
These aren't just recipes. They're the punctuation of every holiday, every Sunday dinner, every time someone I love needed feeding. And for years, they lived in a chaotic binder, looking like nothing.
I kept thinking someone must have solved this. There had to be an app, a service, something that takes a recipe link and turns it into something beautiful. I couldn't find it. So I built it.
